Call for papers

We are pleased to announce the call for „Eastern European Journal of Regional Studies” (EEJRS).

Vol I, Issue II, 2015.


The journal welcomes any relevant contribution from different parts of the World and aims to publish high quality articles that may convey unpublished, innovative and significant scientific contributions related with interactions between education, research and innovation as the core pillars for territorial competitiveness of the country.


Important deadlines:


Abstract submission (max.1000 words):       5 November 2015

Notification of acceptance:                             10 November 2015

Full paper submission:                                     5 December 2015

Expected publication date:                              28 December 2015


All submitted papers will be double-blind reviewed (point 2 above). Authors are invited to submit original previously unpublished research papers written in English. The average length of papers is 5000 - 7500 words (8-12 printed journal pages). The length of submitted papers should not exceed 12 pages, including an abstract, main body and references. We prefer to receive the manuscript as a single complete file that includes all figures and tables in Word's .docx format (Word 2007, 2010, or 2008 or 2011 for a Mac). The paper should adhere to the following formatting requirements: Paper Size: A4; Margins: Top & Bottom = 2.54cm, Left & Right = 3.17cm. All texts must be single line spacing, including the abstract and references. Text should be fully justified. All Fonts are Times New Roman with Size=12, unless stated otherwise. The Journal adheres to the Harvard referencing style. This method is known as the "author-date".

At the point of submission, the Journal’s policy requires that each author reveal any financial interests or connections, direct or indirect, or other situations that might raise the question of bias in the work reported or the conclusions, implications, or opinions stated - including pertinent commercial or other sources of funding for the individual author(s) or for the associated department(s) or organization(s), personal relationships, or direct academic competition.
