Master programme’s course „European Economic Integration”

The aim of this programme’s course was to provide Master students with the deeper knowledge and skills necessary to perceive and evaluate the economic results caused by European Economic Integration and the impact of the process of economic integration at the micro, macro and international levels.

Course contents:

Chapter I. Bases of European economic integration;

Chapter II. Main European Economic policies;

Chapter III. Microeconomic effects of the process of European economic integration;

Chapter IV. Impact of the process of European economic integration upon the main macroeconomic indexes and phenomena;

Chapter V. Role and place of the EU in the world economy in different stages of its enlargement;

Chapter VI. Economic dimension of the European Neighborhood Policy.

 

Objectives of this Master programme’s course were:

- To obtain fundamental knowledge on European economic integration;

- To get understanding of the mechanism of functioning of the EU economies;

- To create abilities and skills necessary for the analysing of the impact of the European economic integration on the main economic indicators of the country concern;

- To understand the role and place of the EU in the world economy;

- To be able to design perspectives of the relations between EU-Moldova in the framework of the Association Agreement  and Deep and Comprehensive Trade Area.

     The programme’s course „European Economic Integration”  was intended for the second cycle degree (Masters) students. This course was designed for 3 years. The course was delivered during the first semester in each academic year in the period of 2013-2015. The Master programme’s course already had been attended by 90 students from the Faculty of International Economic Relations.
